The 8×10 has served a vibrant live music community for the last four decades by offering diverse entertainment and providing a warm, welcoming “third place” to joyfully gather.

Over the last 40 years, the stage at 10 East Cross Street has hosted legendary acts including Nirvana, Widespread Panic, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Phish, Chuck Berry, Dave Matthews Band, Lenny Kravitz, Jimmy Cliff and many more.

As of 2026, The 8×10 has entered a new era of stewardship with an ownership group that includes beloved Baltimore musician Cris Jacobs and Rising Sun Presents, a Philadelphia-based live music production company.

The 8×10 is a 300-capacity rock club that features a state of the art sound system, an open dance floor with a wraparound balcony, and a full bar with a wide selection of beer, wine, and cocktails.
